Having difficulty downloading your instructor support materials? If you are using Internet Explorer, it may be the SmartScreen Filter program..
When you download a program from the Internet, SmartScreen Filter checks the program against a list of programs that are downloaded by a significant number of other Internet Explorer users, as well as a list of programs that are known to be unsafe. If the program you're downloading isn't on either list, SmartScreen Filter will display a warning that the file isn't "commonly downloaded." it doesn't mean there is a problem, only that you shouldn't download files or install a program unless you trust the website and the publisher.
You can bypass the SmartScreen Filter by taking the following steps:
1. Click the download link for ex10 ISM. You may receive a familiar Internet Explorer pop-up box.
2. Click Run.
The box at the bottom shows the download progress. Upon download completion, a warning pop-up box appears.
3. Click Actions.
4. Click More Options.
5. Click Run anyway.
6. Click OK to begin extraction.
