eLab is a secure, web-based solution that offers automated skills assessment, gradebook management, and extended online training, all through an easy-to-use web interface. An eLab Custom Course option is available for this textbook, including pre-built tests and assignments that you can configure as desired. Students show their skills using a highly realistic interface that is used to simulate the Microsoft Office environment, and every keystroke and every click is recorded so you can review every step they made. eLab's online tool enables you to choose the lessons you want, and eLab will automatically build your custom course. If desired, you can also create your own tests and assignments.
Labyrinth makes it so easy for students to work through the course independently. The layout of the book and the exercises are wonderful! I would like to suggest that at the end of each video, you would add a line that says something like "Please return to the textbook to continue your lesson". Many times students will continue watching all the videos without ever returning to the book as it is unclear to them what their next step should be. Thank you!!

We recently made the transition to the Labyrinth Microsoft 2013 series with eLab. The transition has been made very easy with the help from the Labyrinth Staff. The students have adapted to the new system with very little difficulty. Students really like the videos and the ease of learning this provides. As an instructor I can see my students work as the progress in eLab and print the gradebook page as my documentation of course completion. I am only beginning to discover all the features of eLab, but quickly learned enough to get started. We look forward to adding additional courses in the future.
