Three types of eLab courses are available, depending on the textbook selected.

The same license key provides access to eLab, regardless of the type of course available. Check individual product pages to verify the option available for each item.

• Course-in-a-Box. A complete, fully configured eLab course that requires no set up. Pre-built assignments and tests and pre-populated learning resources means you simply choose the course you want and you are ready-to-go. Course-in-a-Box courses can be implemented without any modification, or they can be fully customized by adding your own tests and assignments. Nearly every Microsoft Office 2010 eLab course offers the course in a box option.
• Custom Course. With the Custom Course option, you can use eLab's online tool to choose the lessons you want and eLab will build your custom course for you, including learning resources and pre-built tests and assignments. If desired, you can create your own test and assignments also.
• Build Your Own. eLab courses can be built for any course and any textbook. Create your own tests, assignments and other content. You have complete flexibility. Courses designated as Build Your Own do not offer preloaded tests and assignments.
